Film Screening: Supersonic
Doors: 7pm; Film Starts: 7.30pm
After a fantastic film night celebrating David Bowie in June, we are back with Supersonic (2016, dir. Mat Whitecross). Produced by James Gay-Rees and Asif Kapadia – the Oscar winning team behind Amy and Senna – Supersonic is the phenomenal film revealing the true story behind Oasis, one of the world’s greatest ever rock ‘n’ roll bands, as told by Liam, Noel and those closest to them. Featuring incredible access and never-seen-before footage, the film revolves around the band’s meteoric rise to global success and a lifestyle of mayhem and excess, culminating in the legendary Knebworth concerts.
