Take a listen
Frank Bridge was a viola player as well as a composer and, as you might expect, created a wealth of gorgeous viola music that really shows off the instrument’s best qualities. This Lament for viola duo was premiered by Frank Bridge and Lionel Tertis himself in 1912.
