Who’s on stage

Two of the judges from the Cecil Aronowitz International Viola Competition – Asdis Valdimarsdottir and Thomas Riebl – step out of the adjuticator’s box and onto the stage. Thomas will be playing a 5-string tenor viola.

What they’re playing

A selection of music by Georg Philip Telemann, Johann Sebastian Bach and contemporary composer Garth Knox, who’s leading a composition workshop earlier in the afternoon.
