Who’s on stage
The finalists of the Cecil Aronowitz International Viola Competitions 2025, alongside The Glasshouse’s home orchestra Royal Northern Sinfonia. Aged 18 or under, these talented young violists have made it through three gruelling competition rounds in just one week to get to this moment.
What they’re playing
All finalists will play the first movement of a viola concerto by Franz Anton Hoffmeister or Carl Stamitz, with an original cadenza they’ve written themselves, and Benjamin Britten’s Lachrymae.
Need to know
Pricing: £10 – £30 (plus handling fee).
Age: under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
