This summer, BBC Proms heads back to its home in the North East, here at The Glasshouse.
With it we welcome a weekend of world-class music, with much of it broadcast live across the UK.
From classical heavyweights to joyful family concerts, late-night jazz to inspiring folk and ground-breaking collaborations, it’s a weekend music fans will love. And for the first time, BBC Proms are heading to Sunderland too, with a special performance at The Fire Station.
At the centre of it all is Royal Northern Sinfonia, joined by special guests from across the musical world.
