LYRAS 'Here When You Need' | Live from Sage Gateshead
LYRAS are a band based in the north of England. Taking influence from artists such as Hiatus Kaiyote, Corrine Bailey Rae and Moonchild, LYRAS use dreamy vocal harmonies and a sophisticated sonic backdrop to create a sound grounded in soul, jazz and contemporary R&B.
‘Here When You Need’ was recorded live from Sage Gateshead as part of our 2021 Summer Studios – a free, week-long residency at Sage Gateshead during August for 20 musicians, producers, artists, rappers and singers of all genres to be able to create new work, develop their practice or prepare for a performance.
