Application Process for 25-26 academic year

For new applicants and/or siblings

The information below is designed to help families with new applicants and/or siblings. If you require any further help, please email youngmusicians@theglasshouseicm.org.

Non-auditioned programmes (Saturdays)

Month Details
March – April Applications open. New applicants will be asked to create an account with The Glasshouse. Please remember the email and password that you use to create this account as you will need it for the duration of your application. Sibling applicants will be added to your existing Glasshouse parent/carer account. Bursaries: If you are applying for a bursary, there is a bursary section included in the application form.
25 April  2025 Applications closed.
May Applications and bursaries processed internally.
June Places and bursaries offered.
7 July 2025 Deadline for accepting your place and / or bursary. To accept your place you will need to complete a full registration form which will be sent to you.
August 2025 We will confirm your timetable, any important dates, your fees / bursary allocation and how to pay (if relevant). Fees and bursaries are processed through The Glasshouse Box Office and are attributed to the account that you created when you applied. This generates an order number. To pay your fees, you will need your account log in details and your order number. More info on how to pay will be included in the email we send. Bursaries: Bursary amounts are added onto your account, and this will show in the email confirmation. There may be fees remaining if you have received a part bursary.

 

Auditioned programmes (Sundays)

Month Details

Please remember the email and password that you use to create this account as you will need it for the duration of your application. Sibling applicants will be added to your existing Glasshouse parent/carer account. Bursaries: Bursaries for the CAT programme are provided by DfE and we operate in line with their timescales (see below).
25 April Applications closed.
May Students invited to submit videos for auditions. You can find more information about the audition process here.
19 May Deadline for submission of audition videos.
June Places offered. Bursaries: DfE bursary forms will be sent to you with your offer of a place. If you are not successful, we will provide detailed feedback to support your application next year.
7 July 2025 Deadline for accepting you place – to accept your place you will need to complete a full registration form which will be sent to you. Deadline for returning your bursary form (if relevant).
August 2025 We will confirm your timetable, any important dates, your fees / bursary allocation and how to pay (if relevant). Fees and bursaries are processed through The Glasshouse ticket office and are attributed to the account that you created when you applied. This generates an order number. To pay your fees, you will need your account log in details and your order number. More info on how to pay will be included in the email we send. Bursaries: Bursary amounts are added onto your account, and this will show in the email confirmation. There may be fees remaining if you have received a part bursary.
