Explore Jazz & Folk with Arts Award at The Glasshouse
Fascinated by Folk? Quizzical about Jazz? Let your students discover these musical worlds with our Arts Award by working through their Arts Award Explore.
After completing your Arts Award Adviser Training and becoming a Centre, access our FREE expert lesson plans and worksheets to guide students through their Arts Award Explore qualification. Whether they’re jiving to jazz rhythms or finding the heart in folk harmonies, young people up to age 25 can earn a nationally recognised qualification while exploring these rich musical traditions, developing their creativity, and building valuable skills. Through Arts Award Explore, students become part of the musical story. They’ll experiment, create, and document their folk findings or jazz journeys in their own unique way.
