The Glasshouse

The Glasshouse International Centre for Music is excited to be working with three inspiring musicians as Artists In Residence in 2024-25. Frankie Archer, Natalie Sharp, and ako.

These three artists started work on their projects in September 2024, inspired by the possibilities of digital technology in the creation and performance of their music. Working with our partners at Newcastle University, Mediale and AMP these artists will get support and training to make turn their ideas into reality.

Frankie, Natalie and ako were chosen from an impressive range of applicants from across the region who answered an open call out looking for the most exciting artists in the North to explore what happens when music and digital creativity collide.
