Partners
At Royal Northern Sinfonia we are thrilled to work regularly with a number of partner organisations. Find out more about some of them below.
Samling
For 23 years Samling Institute for young artists has worked tirelessly to identify and nurture the outstanding singers and pianists of tomorrow. From students to emerging professionals, many hundreds of young artists have benefited from the unique learning and performance opportunities Samling has created.
Samling Artist Programme, an intensive residential masterclass programme led by world-class artists, teachers and experts, attracts outstanding young singers and pianists from all over the globe.
Samling Academy extends the reach of the professional Artist Programme to young singers in the North East of England aged 14 to pre-conservatoire, who are provided with the highest level of vocal training available.
Newcastle International Chamber Music Series
The Chamber Music Society was founded in 1880 to promote recitals in the Old Assembly Rooms. From the 1970s the concerts were held in the King’s Hall Newcastle University and Newcastle Playhouse, before moving to Sage Gateshead in 2005.
The Society engages performers of the highest calibre, with recent highlights including the Leonore Piano Trio, Endellion String Quartet, Divertimenti Ensemble, and the Doric String Quartet.
The Society continues to be run by a small number of volunteers and has been a registered Charity since 1998.
